In 2012, Tomoko Sakamoto, editor, and David Lorente, graphic designer, formed Spread. We like designing books – from their first drafts to their final production –  and other proposals that emerge around publications, such as brand identity projects and exhibition graphics.

We work on publications in the creative field, catalogues and monographs, chiefly dedicated to architecture, but also to art, design and photography. Starting from publication design, we conceive books as objects, narrative artefacts and graphic compositions.

Besides our publications, we work in the field of teaching, classes and workshops, and writing and editing for specialised periodical publications.
